There are way too many choices and directions these days, in the area of web site development and it looks like a one big mess. In this tutorial I will try to clean this mess for you, teach you everything you need to know to build whatever website that you like.
This tutorial is for developers and it assumes that you know at least one programming language, that you feel comfortable with computers and development and that you are a fast learner. It does not assume, however, that you have any background in web development.
The outline of this tutorial appears on the left throughout the entire tutorial. It is advised to complete the entire tutorial.
This is not a comprehensive tutorial, I prefer to touch a little bit in each aspect of web development, give you the idea of what you can and can't do with each technology. After you get the idea you can find a more comprehensive tutorials out there, I also recommend about some at the beginning of each section.
